Ashley Arends practices in the Insurance Defense Department. Prior to joining Zumpano Castro Ashley spent three years as a staff attorney for a local automobile insurance company. With the insight one gains from within a carrier, Ashley has a strong understanding of what adjusters and representatives are seeking from counsel. Ashley has developed extensive skills in litigating on behalf of insurance companies in a way that minimizes the costs to the client while providing the best possible outcome.

Ashley also has diverse legal background having handled foreclosures, landlord-tenant disputes, homeowners and condominium association disputes, code enforcement disputes, and appeals as an associate with a small law firm in Coral Gables, Florida. Over the years, Ashley has had the chance to participate in both jury and non-jury trials.

When not practicing law, Ashley enjoys working on her golf game.
